Problems with winamp volume (1 Viewer)

Hi there,
I have a really annoying problem with the winamp volume. I have activated the ext. players plugin for winamp and everytime I start a musik track the winamp volume is set to 40%. I turned off the volume control in the plugin config of winamps direct output, but it doesn help Any ideia how I can change that volume setting in the plugin (if the problem is in the plugin at all)?

Hi there, i had this problem, turned out it was the software associated with my soundcard (genius) and not Winamp. Try preventing the volume control software supplied by the manufacturer from loading at startup (run msconfig) and instead use the default windows volume control slider. This worked for me. thx for the tip. The Creative mixer isn´t loading with windows, there is no additional software that controls the volume - only windows..

Hope this will help:

In Winamp Preferences go to Plug-ins, there to Output, here go to NullsoftDirectSound Output Configuration button.
Go to tab other, there uncheck Enable Volume Control, done.
