Problems wth floppyDTV after 2.0 RC 3 (1 Viewer)

Can't install this firmware on my FloppyDTV, I'm using BDA 2.3 light setup.

Couldnt make it work either.
Seems like its ment for MYtheatre only.

This did the trick:
- extract all files from "060306-FloppyDTV-C-CI-Rel-1-1-2-B31010.exe"
- then copied the executable (FirmwareUpdate.exe) to the tools folder, in my case that's c:\program files\firedtv\tools

I'm having the same blank screen with "no signal found' pop-up on cetain channels. Scanning is fine and some channels are OK.

How do I go about changing the diseqc settings you mention?

I'm using RC3 with the following CVS: mediaportal-cvs-03-26-2006--01-13

RC3 seems to be a real step change in stability and performance - lokking really good!

Open configuration.exe
Goto tv section / tv cards section.
edit your capture card
goto autoscan
There r the disecq settings.

(doing this from memory, dunno if all names r correct)

Are you sure you got the FLOPPYdtv firmware upgrade? It looks like you're trying to upgrade your Floppydtv with FIREdtv firmware.

Well, I think its the right firmware.
Got it from digital-everywhere\support\beta firmware
and there is only two files:

Date: 20.03.2006
Build Number: 31010
Description: Enables QAM 256 modulated channels
Product: FloppyDTV C/CI QAM 256 Beta
Product: FireDTV C/CI QAM 256 Beta
Requirements: BDA drivers v4.2; works ONLY for MyTheatre 3.33.8

Filename: FloppyDTV-C-CI-Rel-1-1-2-B31010
But it seem only to work with Myteather.

petteram, looks like you are trying to update a DVB-S floppyDTV with the DVB-C firmware...
