I installed the newest version of mediaportal on Monday the 19th. It was a clean install having first removed the release candidate.
I programmed in all my normal recordings. One being Rastamouse on On BBC2 at 0645am to record every day. The second Timmy Time on Cebeebies at 7.25am to record every day.
Both failed to record this morning. I enclose the logs I gathered when I found the failed recording
This has been reproducable as I had the same happen yesterday as well. Prior to this was a re tune for digital switchover. The recordings failed on the previous day.
With the 1.2.0RC I had all the same recordings entered and had no failiors.
All my other programmed recordings have happened correctly.
I used the default padding 7mins early 10mins after. The PCis in S3 sleep(hibernate) when not in use.

    Hi alanhewitt

Your logs are *incredibly* long - Powerscheduler is writing one line per second! Might pay to check your configuration. ;)

Anyhow, I think the issue may be related to this:

Is your network interface set up with a static IP address?
Have you tried enabling the "restart TV Server on resume" option?

    Thanks for the quick reply.
Have already ticked as suggested."restart TV Server on resume" option.
Have also unticked "alweays try to update entries"
I do not have static IPaddress but conection is always on.
    Anything else to try?

Have checked again and Power scheduler is still checking as often. What can I change to stop this please?
My network setup has not changed, exactly as in 1.2RC

Have set up a static IP address rather than the Auto setting.
Have also unticked' extensive logging' in power scheduler to see if that helps the long logs.
Will see tomorrow if the 2 record.
Thanks for your help so far 'mm':D

    Hi MM,
Everything recorded OK so setting a fixed (static)IP resolved any conflict with my work machine.
Un ticking extensive logging in Power scheduler has cut the TV log for 17,000kb t0 800.
So great wok very much ablged Thanks again:D
