There are a lot of pics stored in Media\Animations\weatherbg.
What is the purpose of such number of pics?
What is an algoritm of their change?
Are they changing dependently on current weather?
If so, I saw the same background picture for London and Delhi...

The pictures are indeed for having a different pictures depending on the weather and time-of-day. To have this feature functional you must install and enable the InfoServices plug-in in media portal.
    Good luck.

They don't seem to change for me - I always get the same single image for each weather type - ie, 'Mostly Cloudy' gives always the same image; 'Mostly Cloudy And Windy' always gives the same image (different to mostly cloudy). Time of day doesn't make any difference. Yes, I have the Infoservices plugin correctly set up.

    Hi,

This is the way it is supposed to work. One single image for Mostly Cloudy and a single different image for Mostly Clody and windy. If you want more images for mostly cloudy just add more images to that subfolder.

    cheers

Really? My 'Media\Animations\weatherbg' has many subfolders, and each subfolder has many pictures, but I only ever get one image displayed for each weather type. You're saying that if there are multiple images per subfolder/weather type they should display 'randomly' per weather type? 'Cause it's certainly not working like that for me!

    Hi,

Sorry, my bad. It is only one image per weather condition. It doesn't cycle. And the image must be named weather.jpg. The reason why we cannot have cycling images here (multiimage) is that MP1.0.2 does not support dynamic paths (I think it works in MP1.1).

    best regards

Unfortunately, I cannot check this feature in whole scope, because now the weather in Moscow is always the same :(
Thanks a lot for replies :)

Great thanks for a nice skin :)

I got a question regarding weather.
    There is a property:
    Code:
    #infoservice.weather.today.img.small.filenamewithoutext
So I can see that it's possible values are 1....47.
What is the meaning of thiese values?

I am asking 'cause I am going to replace standard weather backdrops.

    I repeated my question here:

    Hi,

1...47 is the different weather conditions. For example 32 is like sunny. I don't know all the values and their corresponding weather condition but you can get that from looking into the MP sourcecode.
