Now lets try posting this once more since my first attempt went down the drain(with the loss of forum posts this saturday)
My HW is Hauppauge pvr 250 and one FireDTV dvb-t tuner - what i want to happen is - all the channels that are the same on these two - to show up in epg guide as one channel lets say MTV Nordic, i dont want one called 'MTV Nordic D'(for digital tuner) and another called MTV Nordic A(analog) - and when i click just MTV Nordic i want the dvb tuner to init as first priority(as long as it is not already recording something or busy with whatever ;P) - this i understand is where i set priority in setup - but the thing that happens for me is - MP seems to be confused when i have two channels with the same name in it, its not enough for me to deselect the analog one under 'setup|tv channels|tv channels' (this is for choosing what to see in epg - yes?), and even when i try to 'Combine' the analog and digital i get problems.
For the record there are channels on my digital tuner that are encrypted(and i dont have subscription for it), BUT i have the very same channel on the analog side.
Just me that have been looking at the wrong options or??!
One more thing - when i do use a combination of ana-digi tuners can i use xmltv listings *and* dvb epg guide download in a mix or do i have to choose between one of them?
