I'm running a composite signal into the card from my virgin/ntl box, it's not tuned and is setup to view the composite channel only...and it works, sadly i thought i'd seen the last of WINTV2000 around the turn of the millennium but no... so i looked to mediaportal as i was sure it was a better choice...and it is, everything seemed to install ok... but the TV section does not allow me to turn on the card... a quick flash of an orange button and thats that... the cards are listed in MP setup as working... i have done nothing else im sure...and so I'm here asking for help... please advise me as I'm sure you have had it all working with this card <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /></p><p></p><p>also on a side note... for as long as i have had this Vista PC i've never had the built in windows media-center to actually work... always updating itself... tried a Pinnacle card in there... couldn't find tuner and errors sent to MS...thought oh yes this good PVR 500 will work?... same thing, cannot find tuner, crashes and sends report...useless for me.. i was quite looking forward to using it actually... i dunno what you have to do for it to see a TV card...anyways... never mind, another piece of junk on my system waiting to be dev_nulled....</p><p></p><p>Anyways...
