PVR150 MCE Kit IR Blaster Support XP Pro (1 Viewer)

From reading post on this site I decided to get the PVR150 MCE Kit. Everyting works good with this kit with the exception of the IR Blaster. It seems that the IR Blaster needs Media Center to work and I only have XP Pro. Has anyone figured out how to get the PVR MCE Kit's IR Blaster to work with non MCE Versions of XP? I have searched and searched and cannot seem to find a solution/workaround.

Yeah, and don't bother with installing any IR drivers from Hauppauge - they are useless.. Also, I noticed that my IR blaster worked fine from second port and didn't when pluged into the first port on the back of the IR receiver. I posted somewhere here about what to do with the plugin Spragleknas is talking about..

Thanks guys. As soon as I got home the other day I gave the plugin a shot and it worked great. Had to use port 2 as well on the IR Reciver, Port 1 would not work. My media player is now good to go!
