Windows Version: Windows XP Pro SP2 German
CPU Type: P4 2,53 GHz
Memory: 1 GB RAM DDR CL2,5 MDT
Motherboard: Asus P4B533-E Deluxe
Motherboard Chipset: i845
Motherboard Bios: up-to-date
Video Card: Club 3D Radeon 9700
Video Card Driver: ATI Catalyst V6.5
Sound Card: Soundblaster Audigy LS
Sound Card AC3:

1. TV Card: Hauppauge PVR-350

Video Codec: Quicktime Alternative, DivX 6, Mediaplayer 9

Satelite/CableTV Provider: iesy (cable-tv Hessen)
HTPC Case:
Power Supply: Coba Supersilent 400W
Remote: Hauppauge
TV: none
TV - HTPC Connection: none

MP-Version: V 0.2.0.2

Problem 1
Quality setting of Hauppauge PVR-350 do not work. Medium quality in MP-Setup (under TV-card option of Hauppauge) 2000-4000 VBR.
Recording for 39 minutes is 3,54 GB... so the quality setting has no funktion because 3,54 GB fit to quality 12000 VBR !

If I choose "portable quality" the result is the same... 39 minutes recording with 3,54 GB.

Any ideas for solving the problem ?

Problem 2
Playing cinema-trailer over the cinema-trailer plugin (standardplugin in MP0.2). The movie shows wrong colors... green, yellow and red. Nearly so if you look through a night vision gear. Only a blank windows XP SP2 with mediaplayer 9 and quicktime alternative is installed (s. above).

Playing the same trailer (before downloaded) form my videos in MP shows the trailer with no problems. Also when playing the trailer over media player classic (comes with quicktime alternative).

Problem 3
Playing quicktime-HD- trailer from my videos (before downloaded) with a resolution over 640 pixel - typically 720p shows one time with delay only pictures and no sound. Next time there is sound and no movie picture. Processor-load is in this time at 100%.

No problems if I play the same 720p Trailer over mediaplayer classic only from desktop with cpu-load of 30%.

If I select mediaplayer classic as external player in MP setup there are no problems with playing the movie. Sound and picture are great but the control is less comfortable than internal player of MP.

Any ideas or solutions ?

Thanks for help !
