Hi,

I have tagged all my music files with Musicbrainz Picard and Last.FmPlus plugin. That plugin use Last.Fm tags as "genre" (like mood, genres, occasion). My question is, is there some way to modify musicviews.xml or some way in configuration program to make these tags visible? It would be really nice to get this working, I wouldn't have to create playlists all the time, just choose which mood I am at the time.

You can find more info from here:

Thanks in advance!

If those tags are part of the "Genre", then you should see them as part of the genre views.
When they're put into non-standard tags, then no.

It looks like that the tags are put in some custom fields, so we are not reading them and they're not part of the database, so they can't be displayed.
I might do that for the MP2 importer, but currently we don#t support them.

    Thanks for your answer.
Yes, you're right, they are not part of genre tags. Most of them are in custom fields and mood is it's own field. I'll just have to live without them, then. It's not a biggie, but it would be a nice feature to see at some point and I really appreciate if you can make it to MP2.

    Best regards and merry christmas!

Hopefully in MPII we indeed support more meta tags, for videos as well (generated for example by the folder structure or some online grabber).
