    Thanks...

Since I started with a base skin, which itself was based on another, etc, etc .... I don't feel completely loopy.

I'll change the ID's for these controls to "0" and see what happens.

Okay... I changed the IDs for these controls to '0' and triple checked.

Now when I try to go to Now Playing, it does not display at all, staying on the current screen, and the screen controls lock (the music is still playing). I have to hit the window 'X' button to exit.

    ... I really feel like I don't know what I'm doing.

I returned the IDs back and it works... and the double-print issue remains.

Okay, I tried again, just changing the 'Playing next' label IDs to '0'... the double print seems to be gone.
    :D

    Well... I spoke too soon.

I did an F5 refresh of MP and the changes DID work.

When I restarted MP and went to MyMusic, loaded a playlist and went to Playing Now ... um ... well, it didn't. The current screen locked while the music played. Still had to exit with the window 'X' button.

Changing the 'Playing now' label IDs back to 20 let me get to Now Playing after the restart.

The double print issue is there again.

Sorry for my premature enthusiasm (I won't take back the :D , though)

Sorry for my misleading post - of course you shouldn't remove controls which a plugin might rely on.

For a start try to make the ID20 label "invisible" - e.g. using fontcolor=background color or moving it out of the visible screen resolution.
Then use two _additional_ controls which display the "#" properties.

    Now I will DANCE!!! :D:D:D:D

I duplicated the first instance of the 'up next' label as a dummy label and moved it off screen.

    Worked like a charm.
