Question - Thumbnail view (1 Viewer)

I am not sure I am askin this in the right forum, but when I browse my movie collection in the Videos section of media portal, In any sort of thumbnail view, it's kinda sluggish.

Any way of speeding this up? I have all my movies in folders, and a folder.jpg for the movie poster inside.

What a view type did you choose? If using shares view: how many files are in one directory?
Try:
- deactivating "watched" indicator
- increase the FPS to 60 (will even raise cpu load further)

Hey there.

I was in the Videos option from the main screen. Then In thumbnail view or even fimstrip view. It's just sluggish unlike when I use my remote and scroll through the selection. Now when I use list view, it's super fast but not filmstrip or big icon view.

Check the dimensions and file size on your Thumbnails. I found if either was overly large there was a substancial delay when browsing as Mediaportal was resizing each image to display.
