I just checked the "CaptureCardDefinitions.xml" file and the analog section is supported - it is called "Leadtek WinFast DTV2000 H (Analogue)".

Have you installed the drivers for the analog section?

And the "LeadTek MPEG Video Encoder", the "LeadTek Audio Encoder" and the "Leadtek MPEG Muxer"?

Again, I'm with Taipan. For Digital to work, you need to make sure the DVB drivers are installed. For Analog, use the WDM drivers.
These are the Windows universal drivers. Even without these the cards own software may still work, because they can use special drivers and don't have to rely on the universal ones (since the manufacturer of hardware and software are the same)

    WinFast DTV2000 H analoque

    Hi fester88,
I'm sorry :sorry: to have bad news for you: Leadtek WinFast DTV2000 H will not probably work in MP (nor in MCE) in analoque mode, because it does not have driver supported encoding. I also had this card and I gave up and sold it. somewhere on this forum I found, that such card (without encoding) were supported in 0.1 version of MP, but there were many troubles and crashes, so from V0.2 only analoque card with software/hardware encoding are supported. There could be 2 solutions:
    1) Leadtek has pure analoque card with software encoding (TV2000), maybe it is possible to grab their encoding driver (it is separate file) and connect it to drivers of DTV2000, taipan probably pointed to this. However, you need the driver files he mentioned, they are not part of your install. You can try http://www.leadtek.co.uk/, driver section of TV2000, and extract needed files.
    2) Make some implementation of such cards to MP.

So I gave up and bought Hauppage.

    *bump*

I dont believe there is such a thing as "pure analog" encoding. The digital channels scan but the analog channels do not scan. Is there any solution for this? VirtualDub can use the card to play analog channels so the card, so that says that the card has everything it needs to play channels to external programs, its just media portal thats the prob atm.

I honestly dont think the card is a sw based card, not even partly. The winfast dtv2000h should be a digital and analog hardware encoded card. I can use both virutal dub and vlc to use the card as a caputre device and record live analog tv. Im trying to use the tvserver, specifically to share the tv with itself and two other clients and enable timeshifting and epg based recording. Im at work atm but i would like to know which logs i should send. BTW i using latest versions of both mp and tvserver as of 10/3/08.
