Quick recordings - is this possible? (1 Viewer)

I have been playing around with MP tonight, and have been unable to do one thing that I would consider as being pretty basic.
With my HDD appliance DVD recorder, I was able to do quick recordings but also set a time for the duration. It would start recording with the first press of the record button while watching a program. Subsequent record key's would cycle through the time one wants to record in 15 minute steps (up to 90 min or so).
Is there something similar available in MP that I have missed or do I always have to go through the schedule menu if I want the recording to stop automatically?

I hope this hasn't been asked too many times --- I was unable to find an answer. Thanks guys!

Unfortunately not implemented, yet.
But this is a feature I would like to see in MediaPortal, too.
