Quicktime 7 problem (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have been having a problem with not being about to play .mov files I have quicktime 7 installed but doesn't seem to be having any joy. Just wondered is there anything i need to do after I have installed QT to get MP to use it correctly?

Are you using QT or QT Alternative? If QT, try QT Alternative, I think that comes with the Directshow codecs you need.
