My problem is with the radio function. When using the radio application supplied by hauppauge everything works for fm. When i try fm radio in media portal it plays for a few seconds and then stops. It the same with dvb-t radio as well.

Can you attach the logs from MediaPortal\log folder to your post.

I uploaded the error and media portal log. you should be awar that started watching e4 before capturing the log. error.log seems to complain that ffdshow is missing however tv works anyway
