Hi

I am experincing a random crash whilst trying to access either the TV guide or view a channel. I am unable to recreate the problem but it seems to happen on average once a day, never at the same time and occurs when I have been elsewhere in MediaPortal viewing movies, etc and try to access the TV guide or view a channel. MP locks up and my only solution is to reboot to get things back to normal. I have tried disabling the EPG scraping on the cards to see if that resolves the issue but it still occured so I renables it, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached my logs but converetd them to rar files as they were to big as zip

Thanks

    Hi

    That looks about the time I exited Live TV. I then watched something via the My TV Series plugin for about an hour and then went back into tv and tried to view the guide. At this point I was locked (although it could have occured an hour earlier when I exited the Live TV), I killed MP via taskmanager and collected the log files by starting MP in debug mode
    Thanks for looking

    Am still getting the issue, reading through my log files I seem to get the following error around the time of each crash,
    pmtgrabber: serviceid mismatch 23f3 != 232b
    In light of anything else to try, I am will go for a rescan of the cards to pick up the channels again, will post back if it has any effect

    Either a rescan, or a clean install.

    If you are going for a rescan, delete all of your existing channels first, just to be sure.

    Just an update on this as I hate it when you see an issue that you have but no resolution. I deleted all my channels, rebooted, did a rescan of both my cards and set everything up again. Since then I haven't had a crash in 48 hours (which is the longest by far), I also haven't seen a reoccurrence of the pmtgrabber: serviceid mismatch in the logs. I am picking my large log files was something else and my real error was the the log message above which I have hopefully resolved by doing the delete and rescan, you would need a dev or someone to confirm this as I have no idea if the error message is related.
