MediaPortal Version: 1.1.0
MediaPortal Skin: StreamedMP
Windows Version: XP SP3
CPU Type: AMD4000
HDD: 2TB Seagate
Memory: 4GB
Motherboard: Don't recall
Video Card: Geforce 7025
Video Card Driver: Nvidia
Sound Card: Onboard
1. TV Card: n/a
MPEG2 Video Codec: SAF
MPEG2 Audio Codec:
h.264 Video Codec:
Satelite/CableTV Provider: NA
Remote: Microsoft
TV: Samsung
TV - HTPC Connection: n/a using vga
I have an unresolved problem - has existed through a few complete reinstalls and upgrades, hardware upgrades, and it's annoying...
Sometimes, and it varies widely, a movie/video will fail to play and put up the little codec box. Sometimes it will play if re-launched, sometimes it will play if we go to the prior episode, start that ok, stop it, return to the problem video, and then it will play. There seems to be no logic to the failures, since they almost always will eventually play.
I have done full reinstalls (clean) of MP and plugins (this is using tv-series, by the way).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Marc
