In RC1 I can't figure out a way to get the mouse pointer to hide itself. The only things I have running are Media Portal, the Input Service and WinLIRC.

Has anyone else observed this problem? The skin I am using is XFace, however the same occurs with the default skins that come with RC1.

The mouse pointer is always visible in the menus, and even when video is playing.

I am using VMR9 with all the options checked.

I've seen a few reports of this, try doing a search as I'm sure this already a thread about it.

While waiting for it to be fixed you might want to try BZHider. It's just a simple mouse cursor hiding program. Google should turn up a few download locations.

    Cheers,

I've only had an extended time-out, then the pointer goes away, but it doesn't take much of a nudge or vibration to reactivate it... not a problem for me.

Seems like this is a bug that affects a few people. Is there some way of making a formal bug report?

The only thing I have in common with the OP is that I have an nvidia card and I use a non-standard skin. I use the indigo skin and I have an nvidia 8500GT.
