    Hi,

i have an rc1 install + last rc1 cvs (2005-12-17). May I apply the last rc2 cvs or I have to uninstall the rc1 and install the rc2 + last rc2 cvs?
(Is there any difference the last rc1 cvs and the rc2 install media?)

    thx

Hmm, if you read the install instruction at https://www.team-mediaportal.de you should have seen this:

    Install:
    1) Install latest testrelease 0.2RC2, not necessary if already done

So have a short break and ask yourself a question: "Did I install testrelease 0.2RC2?". The answer in your case would be: "No, I just installed RC1 some time ago.". Soooooo guess what you need to do now... Right! Uninstall RC1 and install RC2. And of course there have been changes from RC1 to RC2. Why should the version number change if it was the same files?!?

    Good luck

No. You will miss files/changes that are done between the last RC1 build and the official RC2 release cause snaps are based on timestamps.
