However on checking my display properties, I noticed that Aero wasn't there because at some point (presumably when I built the machine!) i'd disabled the DWM Service. Enabled that (and Aero) and yay, no tearing. But even better, the GUI Flicker seems to have vanished too! OK, i've not used it a lot yet, but previously, all I had to do was watch tv, hit Guide and the flicker appeared.Will continue investigating...</blockquote>
