RC4: Video Database does not work (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

i got the latest X-Factor r680 abd MP RC4.

In the Video Database MP does not find Anything if i select the X-Factor.

Only in the MP Debug Mode the database @script ofdb_de_imdb works.

And if i go to the "list view" in "my videos" there is only seen a dvd cover but no text, no information - nothing.

So, now we found some really strange things:

If i deactivate the Fanart Handler the XFactor OFDB/IMDB works fine.

So this must be a big bug of the Fanart Handler or is ist a XFactor Problem?

May i poste the same to the Fanart Handler creator?

Hi Terrabyte,

Thanks for your report.

Please open MP Configuration. Select the Fanart Handler plugin. Goto the section for "Proxy" and make sure that if you do not use proxy, that this option is not selected. If you use proxy, make sure the proxy setting is correct. Let me know if this solves your problem.

Also: Please go to the "About" tab and let me know the version number for your fanart handler plugin. Should be top right in the About screen. Is sounds as if you are using a old version of the plugin.

i don`t know if I have to use a proxy?
Internet still works without any options, it is set to full automatic inside Internet Explorer

Do I have to check this first or doesn`t that matter?

Hi,

Please just check the version of the fanart handler plugin and if you have the "use proxy" checkbox ticked in the fanart handler configuration.

I can see only stable version in MP Extensions Installer (R630) and i have uncheked option 'only stable version' but not the R680, how do you get it?
