I'm certain this is not kin related but I'm seriously wondering why the following occurs.</p><p></p><p>I'll explain step by step what I do....</p><p></p><p>When mediaportal is not playing a movie or television all text in MP is very hard to read. Text is deformed somehow because of the "widescreen mode". Although I use a 16:9 reolution I can understand why. The resolution is never exactly the lines the TV expects, so the TV compresses the image a bit to make it fit the screen, which results in a slightly deformed image.</p><p>The strange thing is.... when I've got a movie or TV stream running the deformation is gone! As soon as I start a movie all text becomes very clear and smooth. Even though nothing has changed in the resolution or aspect ratio of the screen.
