Ready to throw in the towel (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to run tv server with a client on the same machine, with the plan to connect other clients at a later time.

Using PVR150MCE with MCEUSB2 remote.

After installing server, the client never picked up the zap2it listings from mysql. The client never asked me to connect to a server, even though I had turned server off to see if it would request an ip location. Every channel I hit says not mapped blah blah. The MCE remote plugin doesn't change channels on my STB (Scientific Atlanta 2000).

I followed the install videos and the client simply doesn't work for me, doesn't change channels, server doesn't change channels.

Damnit. Thinking about giving GBPVR a try or just sticking with MCE2005.

Wasted an entire night.

Why don't you just use the TVengine2? The TVserver3 and the client are still under heavy development.
The included TVengine2 works like a charm. Much better then any other solution.

Logs, bugreport, any request for help besides the "wasting my night", "wont use it anymore" post?

Very hard to help without the logs. Have bing using TVEngine with 2 Hauppauge PVR without a problems, controling two STBs over MCE blasters.
