Real Media Streams (1 Viewer)

Can anyone help me here. I am sure its easy enough but searching for 'Real' in the forum is a bit useless.

I am trying to play Real Media Streams from My Radio. I have plenty of audio and video WM streams working, but some of the BBC radio stations only broadcast in Real.

Can someone point me in the right direction. From what I read I am pretty sure it can be done, but how.

can you play other rm streams?
i remember there have always been problems especially with bbc streams. there are several threads on this on the forum. maybe search for "bbc" instead of "real"

My Radio only supports those streams playable in windows media player and there's no Real Audio codec for that. This is an old subject, I asked the questions a couple of years ago and decided it wasn't going to happen so just plumped for the radio channels available through my tv card.

There was some talk of using RealAlternative and the directshow splitter that comes with it but I never got that working in any form.

For the BBC rm stuff I use myprograms, with Media Player classic, only way I could find that worked.
