Well slap me with a wet kipper if it isn't now working.... :o By "It" I meant MediaPortal. And for a time it was not tuning or recording on either the Nova-T or Pinnacle dual tuners, but would record on the HVR1300. Earlier yesterday it wouldn't tune on either tuner on the Pinnacle, even when the Hauppage was disabled! I did get tuned in, but removing the ariel lead from the Hauppage caused the video to freeze and gave me noise on the audio, so I assume it was tuning from the Hauppage. This all started a couple of weeks ago with a big blue screen when trying to record BBC, I eventually had to replace the power supply, both sticks of memory and discard an HVR1300 as these were all causing intermittent blue screens (not to mention corruption on the HD!) HD recovered from a ghost of the original disk I'd taken a few days before and chkdsk'd and SFC /scannow'd with no apparent errors. I did a clean remove/install of MP last night (or early this morning!) with the Hauppage HVR1300 and Pinnacle 3010i and, as of posting here, once recording BBC it then refused to tune ITV claiming no signal. So I assumed that it was declining to use the additional tuners again. It was also decling to show the EPG. I had scanned channels with all three tuners. This morning, it still wasn't picking up the EPG and still wouldn't tune ITV at all. So I did a rescan and it is now picking up all the channels I have tried so far, recording three different channels on different transponders and managing to grab the EPG. What is the difference between last night and this morning? I have no idea... unless it somehow picks up channels from an additional transmitter at night and then makes a poor choice on which to tune? Is that even possible? Most of my issues before the thing went bang were down to it not being able to tune ITV at night. Logs attached...
