Does somebody know if one can use reclock and hardware acceleration at the same time with MP?

AFAIK postprocessing is not possible if someone wants to use hardware acceleration. But reclock is not a postprocess filter, I think.

I use my plasma TV with 60 Hz and watch mainly 50 Hz PAL source (TV, DVD). I can´t use 50 Hz because it causes massive overscan through HDMI (Catalyst can compensate this only at 60 Hz). VMR9 exclusive is activated because of tearing. I would like to correct the 50/60 Hz problem with reclock. Or is it a bad idea? And I don´t want to miss hardware acceleration, it gives a superb picture with low CPU.

    thanx

    Hi kszabo,

Reclock is somewhat problematic with MP. The behavior is sometimes quite odd. You may notice a line in you log stating that reclock is installed - this it can be uninstalled before I help someone out.

Yes - I used to run reclock + nvidia codec.
I ran it since it happened to fix a 5.1 channel sound issue where I didn't get a centre channel for live tv (reclock replaces the buggy audio renderer). I subsequently fixed this issue - so don't need reclock any more.
