What is the best way to manage (delete, etc) recorded tv in MP1?

If I delete the shows manually in windows, I get a bunch of blank records in MP. I can clean these records out with "Cleanup Recordings" but this also deletes any and every show I've watched! Of course I can manually delete each show in MP, but with 20 or more shows, all sorted in folders by show (the way MP displays the shows), this takes quite a while.

Is there a way to tell MP to delete any Recorded TV entries that no longer exist (video file has been deleted in windows) or even better, a way to easily manage recording within MP (plugin??) (I've tried My Series)

A quick solution would to be browse Recorded TV by shares, but it seems all the recorded TV views are running off a database. Which I might mention, I would love to browse, if it looks anything like MYSQL.

Just setup a share in MyVideos which maps to your recording folders if you manage your files outside of MP.
