this patch even in first version helped me to reduce wait time for scheduling the records from ~20 down to 5 seconds.

This will be looked at after 1.2 is released. Not sure that was made clear earlier.

We entered feature/rework freeze before this patch was submitted and are now in code freeze. If there is not an existing mantis to sort this in 1.3 I will add one tonight

I don't know what to do with the file.
(The path and file within the document doesn't exists ...)

Hi there,

If you do not know what to do with the file, then it won't be easy (possible) for you to use it.

The file contains source code, which will need merging into the main Mediaportal source code, and then compiling into a format you can run on your HTPC.

It is meant for developers to test/comment on, before it is merged and then made available in the next release of Mediaportal.

You may find someone might be kind enough to do the above for you, and simply provide a file(s) that you can copy onto your HTPC.

I use this one since march 2011 and never had an impact or problem

I have already create a branch but i just rebase it with the fix.
It's ready for testing, if we can have some reports about the branch itself
