Ok, after some more tweaking I think I got it working now. I created a macro with only the "select" ir command and set it to the pre- change. Now when I select "my tv" from the home screen it sends the command and "wakes up" the STB. I also set the same macro to the start recorder event (instead of "before recording" or "MP start" and now the event triggers the "select"command to be sent.
However I plan to try using this with the TVE3 soon, can you explain to me how this should work. Since the client machines will physically connected a STB and a IR blaster but the server will only be connected to a STB. THANX!

For TV 3 I've developed a whole new set of plugins and applications.

THANX! How soon till its available? It looks like it still in the testing phase?
I will release a public test copy soon (hopefully within a week), but the current test copies are working very well I believe. And after the last little issues are knocked over I think it will be ready.

The above mentioned STB has two tuners. The second tuner can only be controlled via RF. Is there any way I can get the MCE replacement plugin for Either TVE2 or TVE3 to control the second tuner? I need to be able to "wake" it for recordings.(as mentioned above) I saw in this post https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/using_radio_freqency_rf_mce_remote-t22257.html there is an RF MCE remote, would it be possible to have the USB "RF BLASTER" it comes with send the needed command to the STB's anntena? I also saw mention of X10 being supported for the TVE3 server suite what is it exactly? THANX!
