My signal is fine. I can watch TV in MP for hours without a hickup, except when timeshifting is enabled or I'm recording something.

In myTheatre my signal strenght is always 100%, I'm using cable.

I HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM (I hope)

The problem whas an amplifier and a certain TV, the bad guy is the amplifier, but when did the problem occur, when a certain TV was put on.

This caused a signal break and MP could not get a lock until you turned of TV and back on, quite strange because when you unplug the signal and put the cable back in MP gets immediately a lock.


And after all it also happens when just watching TV without timeshift, how come I didn't notice, well when watching tv and not recording that certain tv was never put on.

I think its quite a strange problem, especially why MP could not get a lock, myTheatre didn't suffer from this problem.

How did I solved the problem? Well I turned the gain on the amplifier down and that did it.

So I hope I solved the problem, because it was driving me mad.

that was kind of a funny problem. Glad it wasn't MP fault.
I take it u ment a tv antenna amplifier?

A TV Cable amplifier
