    First post here...

First thanks for the great software, really happy with it. But I have an issue.

I schedule a show for recording and it starts recording just fine, but it keeps recording untill I restart the computer. If I look in the xml file for the show it nicely states the correct start and finish time.

    Anybody had this issue?

PS. Tried to attach the log files but the zip file is 59mb big......

This was happening to me also. I disabled DVB EPG grabbing and it seems to be working fine for the past couple of weeks now.

Yes, I also had this issue yesterday.

In my case I was recording two shows off the same network and they both just kept recording until a scheduled job rebooted the server at 5am.

The TV server also failed to start other scheduled recordings for later in the evening even though only one of the 3 tuners I have was busy.

I've attached my logs. I have truncated the TsWriter log for 2012-03-11, just assume that it keeps logging Continuity errors until 5am.

I also had a lot of Continuity errors on the 6th and 7th caused by a bad signal due to a loose connection to the antenna. All the scheduled recordings on those days recorded as expected although they were mostly unwatchable. The files produced yesterday were watchable so I don't think there was a signal quality issue.

For me this behaviour was an intermittent issue in MediaPortal 1.1.0 and this is the first time I've encountered it since upgrading to 1.2.2 earlier this month.

I've also had this happen a few times over the past couple of weeks. I do not have DVB EPG enabled, since I use Schedules Direct.

For example, last night it was still recording an hour after it should have stopped (3-minute post padding). Exiting MP and restarting MP did not stop the recording, A soft reboot did not stop the recording, There was nothing in the Scheduled Recordings after the one show ended. I finally just powered-down the system for a few minutes.

No logs, I'm at work on my lunch break.

Ok so it is not DVB EPG, that is good. I made some changes last night.
    1. I deleted the log files as they where very big.
    2. Done a windows update and noticed there where some .net updates so got those.
    3. I have 6 tuners (yes....) I now use on tuner for EPG collection only the other 5 are for recording (I do not watch live tv).

It looks like all worked this morning, the machine was turned off and I recorded 5 shows last night and they stopped on time. Fingers crossed.

I think between the .net updates and making one tuner dedicated to EPG it might have solved the problem, to early to tell but I keep you posted.
