Hi and sorry my English.

I have some problem with my TV card. My card is duo, in Aver Media Center it support LiveTV and recording simultaneously. But in MP can't.
In TVServer is

In our region DBV is not working and I disable it.

All channels are mapped.

Take this scenario:
I'm watching TV on channel A. I decide to record channel A (press record button on my remote and select record current programme). I can still watch channel A while it is being recorded. Works fine.

I then decide to switch to another channel ("channel B") while channel A is being recorded. As far as I understand it, I should be able to record channel A with one card and watch channel B with the other card - simultaneously.
But when I switch to channel B nothing happens, until after a couple of seconds I get a message saying "Unknown error". And TVServer service is crash.

Moreover it happed in Manual control tab TV Server app.

I choose channel "TV Center Europe 1" and press "Start TimeShift" button.

Everything OK.

Then I choose channel Ros24 and press "Start TimeShift" button. MPServer must start it by second card.

But TVServer service crash and I have this

You say in another application (Aver Media Center) you can watch one channel, and record another OK, so this means card is fine.

What is odd is that in TVserver both tunners have same name! Dual tunners usually have name like Tecnotrend XYZ (tunner 0) and Technotrend XYZ (tunner1) to distinguish them.

I guess this is handled by the driver software!

In Aver Media center are the cards named differently for each tunner?

If mediaportal can not tell them apart (they have same name) then i dont think it can use them both!

regards

peter

In Aver Media center the cards is not divided by tuners. There is just 1 device in settings :(
May be you right, this is "not unique name" problem. But where MP is getting this name? Can I correct it?

Are channels definitely mapped for BOTH cards? (your screen-shot of channel mappings is only for one of the cards)

Yes, it does. Second screen-shot is the same.

Well. I correct tuner names in MySQL DB and nothing... :(
Looks like i need to download sources and debug
