I´ve got some strange behaviour of my TV-cards now.

    Two problems:
    1. The tuners on the Digital Devices Duoflex S2 card works to record TV but NOT to timeshift! Using "manual control / timeshift" in TV-server setup does not work with these tuners. From MediaPortal I can use them for recordings but not timeshifting. See also logs below.
    2. I can now simultaneously use 3 tuners for coded channels, but not all 4. My H/W combination of Digital Devices cards + CI module and an Alphacrypt CAM should be able to "Multi Transponder Decrypt" all four tuners simultaneously. I´m almost 100% sure it has worked before, but now I can only use 3 at at time, thereafter I get message "channel is encrypted".

I attached logs from a test I made:
(card nr 4 occupied with a previously started recording)
16.44 Started watching "Kanal 5 Väst". TV-server chose card nr 2, although card 5 has higher priority. Stopped.
16.45 started recording of "Kanal 5 Väst". TV-server chose card nr 5. Stopped.
16.45 repeated trial to watch / timeshift "Kanal 5 Väst" - again TV-server chose card nr 2. => can´t timeshift with card nr 5.
16.46 Started two recordings: "Kanal 5 Väst" - TV-server chose card nr. 5 and "Sjuan" - TV-server chose card nr. 2
16.46 Tried watching "TV8" on the fourth, free card => error channel is coded
16.47 Tried recording "TV8" on the fourth, free card => recording did not start, but no error reported in MediaPortal

    My setup: Card nr 2 & 3 on a Digital Devices Cine-S2 v6
    Card nr 4 & 5 on a Digital Devices Duoflex S2
    Priority order: 4, 5, 2, 3

Grateful for any help on this :)

Solved the problem with timeshifting: The reason was that I had set "Timeshifting: Maximum free cards to try" to 2, and that made only the two top prioritied cards possible to start timeshifting from manual control. I guess I had somehow messed up the card priorities also, and that's why MP skipped a high priority card. Now all cards work for timeshifting.

However, I can still not use all 4 cards simultaneously for scrambled channels.
