Recordings and TV are not longer working (likely since a Windows update) (1 Viewer)

Hi,

during the night, Windows 10 installed some updates and in the morning Mediaportal was no longer working: TV and trying to watch recordings results in a crash, see the log.

The Windows updates installed were:

• KB890830
• KB4013418
• KB4013429
• KB4014329
• KB4013867

Any suggestions are appreciated. (I already tried a re-installation --> no success)

See this thread - 1.16 Pre Rel. crashes after w10 update (applies to MP 1.15 as well).

Basically a Win 10 update has broken some Microsoft DirectShow codecs, so you need to make sure that you use LAV codecs for everything - see this post 1.16 Pre Rel. crashes after w10 update
