This tool will import a directory of dvr-ms or ts/xml files to your mediaportal database so that you can view them in the recordings section of MyTV.
It shouldn't break your system but don't blame me if it does! BACKUP your database first.
Due to data not being available the tool uses default content for a few of the fields (namely keepuntil is 0, keepuntil date is 01/01/2000 12:00:00, timeswatched is 0 and stoptime is 0). The Channel Number is not stored in the xml file but the name is included so this tool will attempt to lookup the channel number, if it can't, it will use the first channel number in the db. It uses the ID of the first server that is set to master.
DVR-MS Note: I have only tested this on dvr-ms recordings from windows media center however, as dvr-ms is a standard, the meta-data *should* be the same for other programs but I don't yet know.
Please let me know of any bugs you encounter or any feedback you have.
Chris
The tool will install from the internet and copy the dlls to the right places. It can all be removed again from add/remove programs. It will also automagically update whenever there is a new version available.
