Your new distribution method doesn't work here on w2k.

Just clicking on the link and I get a page full of code and thats it.

Any help so I can test, thanks.

    Same on WinXP

I'd really like to check the importer, because I lost about 30 recordings during the last tuning I tried.

I tried with firefox as standard browser and with IE as standard browser. But no success

Just tried link here and it works fine with Vista32.

Possible firewall\internet security setting if .net installed correctly.

    Vista32 fine here.

Xp and w2k do not work.

No firewall on w2k test pc so not that problem.

Must be an IE browser setting/plugin missing as the code doesn't initialize/run.

For some reason the importer fails to import anything. It says .xml files are missing, but every .ts file has the corresponding .xmk file available (in t he same folder). Could there be some chars in the filenames that aren't handled properly? I.e. a space for example.

For those that are having problems getting this installed via the 'clickonce' method.

Do you have .NET 3.0 installed or not?

From limited innvestigation the OS without .NET 3.0 that I have for test platforms will not instal the app.

I may be off base here but as the author is otherwise busy and there is no answer to this dilema.

Unfortunately, I don't have .net 3.0 installed so its not that. I'll look into both problems today and get back to you!

for everyone having trouble installing using the setup.exe: try this url in IE:

    http://members.lycos.co.uk/snakeman65/Recordings-Importer/Recordings-Importer.application

This does not work in Firefox! I tried it with IE7 here, don't know if IE6 will work.

Unfortunately installing is all I managed to do so far. When I try to import my recordings folder, the program simply hangs. No error message, nothing, it just hangs. Memory usage changes slightly from time to time, but other than that nothing happens. How long is this supposed to take?

I didn't spot this inmediately because we're in the MP1 forum section here :)

To be fair I have to tell you that I'll integrate a similar feature into SetupTv soon.
Basically it will just look at the configured recording paths and import all matroska tags for files not actually present in the recordings DB.

Nevertheless I guess many people will appreciate a tool like yours for MP1 and its included TV-plugin. :D
