I also tried this today and since I reinstalled my HTPC this weekend I was really looking forward to this application. But I get the same error message as the others.

I hope you can find the error and fix it.

Updated the first post with a (hopefully) fixed version. This version removes the specific version requirements for the directx dll that is causing the problems as directx 9.0c should have this requirement (this util runs on my one of my machiens that doesn't have the sdk after all).

Let me know how you get on. If this doesn't work I might have to look at distributing the offending dll (if its legal!!)

Flipping fantastic.

Works fine with Vista32\xp, now got a full list of programs recorded in either xp or vista. (confused as hell before as never sure which system i set up recording in).

Mmm, I am using an english XP and when it comes to .net I have 1.1, 2 SP1 and 3 SP 1 installed. So I at least live with the assumption that everything is up to date.

Well that just blew out the locale theory.

Need some more people to test this one.

Hi. The same problem here, I am using a czech XP SP2 and .net 1.1and 2 SP1 and DX 9.0c.
