Is there anyway to get the digital text (Red Button) working on Mediaportal

For Info I mean the text like new headlines sports results etc - that you can see whilst watching a channel?

I've checked and I can't find it - either for sat or freeview. Surely someone has asked this before? (Google searches for "red button" or digital text brought up nothing)

The problem appears to be that MHEG is pretty complicated and there aren't many countries using it (the UK being one) which means there aren't many developers who would benefit from spending a lot of time coding it.

I believe that Windows 7 Media Center can now use the red button (it was introduced, I believe, as part of the OEM only Vista TV Pack) but obviously Microsoft benefit from a lot of full time developers. I also think that MythTV may have also implemented some red button functionality.

I would guess full implementation is very complex as the BBC have still not fully implemented Red Button functionality into Freeesat yet (although this is aparently partly due to clashes with the interactive platform on BSkyB).
