Synopsis::

When I start MediaPortal, a dialog box appears stating, "exception: Warning: Nothing will be rendered. The reference rendering device was selected, but your computer only has a reduced-functionality reference device...".

When I click OK, the MediaPortal "Starting Recorder" box appears but then it just hangs.

I downloaded the latest drivers for my tuner card but it didn't make any difference. I'm new to MediaPortal and really want to get it working but don't know what to try next. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you mean the video card (Sis 650/651/m650/740 (32 MB))
or the TV Card (Dvico FusionHDTV DVB-T Lite)?
