I just resumed MP from Standby and it somehow crashed instantly/ had already crashed before I had the chance to input something.
I have set MP to be "always on top", at the crash the taskbar was visible - that was what first struck me as "odd".
MP did not respond to anything so I killed the task.

I have attached the log maybe someone finds something interesting.

    Hello - it's me again

I have a reproducible problem when watching a TV show that is currently recording. I am watching the show from the recording.

The video keeps freezing leaving MP unresponsive.

I have attached 2 crash logs:

    1) crashed while rewinding
    2) crashed directly after starting the recording with option "start from beginning"

maybe that can help narrowing it down

    Hi,

I did not find any error related info in your logs and I can't reproduce this issue. I am using a newer build merged with master. You may test it if you want but as I think there was not any bugfix related to this issue.

mhhpf - Bummer. I thought though it happened twice there would be something. I can rule out filesystem. I might check my HTPC for stability again just to be sure - but if it would be a HW problem I would expect problems in other scenarious too and it always happens when watching a file that is currently in recording.

It is not a hw issue. I have tested it in my test single seat system and I tested it in my production multi seat system too. Both of them can play the recorded tv when the recording is in progress.

    What is your tv codec?

Can you give me some details regards to this issue?
    • Does it happen after restart of the PC?
    • Does it happen after resume from standby?
    • Does it happen on another client (if you have another client)?
