Can you give me some details regards to this issue?

• Does it happen after restart of the PC?
• Does it happen after resume from standby?
• Does it happen on another client (if you have another client)?

1) I have to test that, and I will.
2) Yes the PC was always resumed from Standby. However when it happened the first time the PC came from standby after it automatically restarted that morning- but that probably qualifies as "from standby anyway"
3) I don't have another client.

Hi

It is reproducable after a clean Windows restart. All it needs is heavy play/pause rew/ff while watching a recording that is still currently recording. After 5 minutes the picture froze. Log is attached.

Can you test it with the official MePo? The 1.7 Pre Release is good for test.

Can you test playing a recorded tv without the recording in progress?

Can you test playing the recorded .ts file in my video?

phew that will take a while - but yes I will test.

So I will doe the following:
1) test recording wtihout actually still in recording status
2) playback from myvideo folder/menu
3) install 1.7 pre - can I just start the installer and it will update oder do Ihave to remove MP first? (never upgarded)

There is an option in the installer to reinstall the current version. Please use that.

Ok from what I can tell it only seems to happen when the file is still beeing used while actively recording something.

Okay I updated to 1.7 pre and it is running. I will keep you up-to-date but I won't have time for testing next 3 days, sorry.

Ok more that 3 days but we haven't done mutch watching. I did some testing about 30 minutes reversing and FF and it did not crash - so I think there is a good chance that the issue is resolved. I wil keep you posted if it happens again.

Does the 1.7 Pre mean the officiel MePo release or my 1.7 Pre release from the 1st. post?

Is the Team needing logfiles for resume from standby issues/crashes with 1.7pre?
