Reinstall TV Server, clients dont see old TV recordings (1 Viewer)

    Pretty much in the thread title. TV Server reinstalled and legacy TV recordings on the Server machine arent visable on the clients. I cant understand it, set up is identical before files are sitting there, but for some reason no client sees the files.

    In the server config there is a section for importing existing records.
    Have you seen this?

    Yup. I used the export / import function of TV server.

    It's server side. If you've chosen the correct recording folder (meaning that folder where you recordings are located) then you
    should see your old recordings in that tab. After importing them you can then see you recordings in your MP client.

    And this is why I love Media Portal. Double checking the source drive I noted although the folder name was correct, drive was d not e, once I amended this the import tab showed all the files.

    Clicked on import selceted files and hey presto clients not only show my missing programs from before recent reinstall but also files from before the previous one!
