Similarly if I tried to power down it would get to the part where the power should turn off and it wouldnt. Same for sleep I noticed the problem occured after doing windows updates and I think it installed a new chipset driver. So I thought ok lets just reinstall the latest chipset driver package from nvidia.com which I did and now these power problems seem to be fixed (I hope) However when the powerscheduler puts my computer to sleep now and it wakes up, there is no display. It seems to start up ok and record etc but I dont get a display until I press a button on the remote or keyboard etc. This doesnt happen if I wake the computer from sleep by pressing the power button on the PC, it will come back with the display turned on autmatically I tried disabling / re-enabling the plugin in tv server and client and stop / resart the tv service but this didnt seem to help. Although I should mention I didnt play around with the powerscheduling before I did the windows update so I dont know if the display would have woken up prior to this update being installed and only doing the update makes it work. EDIT: Reinstalled MP Server and Client again completly from scratch and I'm back to having power issues again where the pc wont restart or shut off properly.. Aarrrgh!! Will reinstall chipset drivers again and hope that fixes my power problems but just wondering does MP or the powerschedule plugin affect power management like this that it can cause improper shutdowns etc like I'm experiencing?
