OK I had another look at this, I checked which version of JayRock I had used in my build (as there are builds for .NET 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0) and I have used .NET 2.0 build, I had a look on the web and .NET 4.0 does not contain anything below it and so 3.5 (which includes 2.0) is required for anything using below 4.0.

Do you have .NET 3.5 installed along with 4.0? If not could you try?

I cannot remember why I chose the 2.0 version, I think its because MediaPortal required the project to be .NET 3.5 ... I will check again to see if I can include the 4.0 version too.

Hi bushbrother:

OK, I had a check on my HTPC, and I do have .NET 3.5 (SP1) installed along with .NET 4.0. I did a reinstall of .NET 3.5 but it doesn't seem to work - still getting the same error messages.

Thanks.

Hi, sorry for the slow reply, can I ask what version of MP you are using? If you are on MP1.2 then you need the slightly older version of the plugin available here:

http://code.google.com/p/mp-transmission/downloads/list

v0.2 = MP1.2
v0.2.1 = MP1.3

Hope that helps.
