I have a very special problem in my home.
i would like to use a beamer with a mini htpc at the ceiling with remote MP client by WLAN.
does WLAN transfer speed work in regards to DVD, MPEG, DVB-C streaming???
secondly even though the picture should be send to the beamer - the audio should not.
it must be broadcasted through my DOLBY SURROUND stereo that is localized besides the MP server PC...
how can I actually do this "splitting" of signals - especially i would like to avoid "audio out of sync".
any other way to get a HD picture wireless to the beamer?
i used simple wireless TV broadcast units before and they generally would not work correctly besides WLAN/microwave/Wii/DECT...
any ideas?
thanks for your support!

Wireless N to my laptop for DVB-T 1080i MPEG2 live TV works fine here.

I think you're going to struggle with the sound in sync in you're scenario. You might need to use a bluetooth soundcard from the mini HTPC in the ceiling back to the stereo.

Believe it or not, you can actually get wireless video cards these days, that might be your solution: Wireless Graphics card - KFA2 GTX 460 WDHI review

Nice, but at 11 inches\27cm long, bit big for a standard htpc case, great if using a full size case ;)

30metre range good too, nice solution for someone to do a bit of gaming as well.
