Remote Connection Couldn't Be Established - MPExtended & aMPdroid 1.0 (1 Viewer)

I have installed .Net 4, MPExtended Service 0.4.1 and aMPdroid 1.0. I am using all the default settings. However, when I try to "Connect Remote", I get a "Remote Connection Couldn't Be Established" almost instantly.

I'm not quite sure what other details to supply to help you guys help me debug the why I cannot get this to work.

Firstly, should the port in MPExtended and Wifi Remote both be the same?

I don't have bonjour installed, do I really need this?

All working now. I had to stop/start the service via Windows 7 Services as opposed to simply clicking on the Start/Stop button within MPExtended. Not sure if this was just a coincidence or the root cause of not being able to get a connection.
