Remote control best support (1 Viewer)

Well the cable of the MS MCE remote is quite long, I didn't fully deploy it but I would say it's 5m long

Just bought this one on ebay http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remotes/universal_remotes/devices/375&cl=ca,en and I checked the compatibility of it with my case manufacturer, and mediaportal and it supports them both. Can't wait for it to come in. Bye-bye three remotes, hello Harmony!

yea, those harmony are amazing... !!

i'm thinking on buying the 880 or the "one", just make sure to buy the IR reciever as well....

anyone has experience with this configuration?

without buying the mse remote?

IRTrans has support for mediacenter remotes, so I'm going to see if it will work. Based on the HTPC 'check compatibility' matrix on logitech's website, they claim full compatibility with the OrigenAE X11 case which uses IRTrans so it should work out of the box!
