Remote extended buttons not working since MP1.6 upgrade or MPExtended install (1 Viewer)

Hi

My extended remote buttons have stopped working (e.g. MyTV, Guide amongst others). Up until a few days ago I had these working well with EventGhost with the MediaPortal plugin and MP 1.4 with Message Plugin.

Not sure how I broke it, but in between it working and not working I tried aMPDroid which required installing MPExtended with MS .net 4 and Bonjour. This broke MP Config, so trying to fix that I upgraded to MP 1.4 to 1.6 (which didn't fix it) but then I subsequently fixed it by deleting musicdsp.xml.

Since then I have tried uninstalling MP Extended & Bonjour, but no success.

I would be grateful for any suggestions as I am hoping to avoid a full fresh install, if possible!

PS Logs attached. Other relavant info;
I use Maplin trackball remote (shows as HOLTEK Wireless 2.4GHz Trackball Keyboard in EventGhost)
EventGhost 0.4.1.r1640 with MediaPortal plugin
MediaPortal with MessagePlugin and HID remote enabled

Fixed!

In a nutshell, apparently MP1.6 will not listen to Message Plugin (or EventGhostPlus either, if you use that). The fix is to use a patched MediaPortal.exe.
