Remote Problem (2 Viewers)

Hi All

I have one of these remotes:

but I can't get it to work properly. The Arrow keys and OK work alright, but when I'm playing DVD's etc, none of the play, stop keys etc work. Pressing the up arrow skips on, and pressing the down arrow skips back, but nothing else seems to work. I have MCE enabled in the options.

I'm fairly sure MediaPortal isn't the problem, as I get the same issue in WMP, Real Player etc...

Any ideas?

Hey,

I'm not familiar with this particular remote, but the web site you link to does say that it works with a whole host of applications including MediaPortal.

It might be worth emailing the company and seeing if they have any specific information for getting the extra buttons to work with MediaPortal.

Also, it's not good form to post the same message twice on the forums, so I've taken the liberty of deleting your duplicate post from the MCE Replacement Plugin sub-section (You aren't actually using the plugin are you?). No big deal, just try not to do it in the future.
