Is it possible to remotely stream to a client MP setup over the internet by using my routers IP address? This is obviously possible for accessing my server's media files (movies, music etc), but is it possible using MP as the GUI, and also to stream live TV from TVserver on my home network?

What kind of Uplink do you have? You need to configure port forwarding on your router to the tv server for SQL & streaming. Overall MP is not designed with direct inet access in mind, so you might have security issues if you do this.

Additionally latency might be an issue.

My home network is all on a BT home hub so im not even sure if port forwarding is possible? Anybody (probably UK members will know) have any knowledge on this?

My Tvserver uses a wireless-G card to connect to the BT home hub, which in turn is conncted to the internet via ADSL. Other MP clients on my home network use their own wireless connections to access the home hub/server.
